Recently, Isaiah Johnson, son of renowned basketball trainer Coach Chris Johnson, achieved a remarkable milestone by scoring 1,000 career points and the same was announced to the community through an Instagram post. Now coming to Isaiah, is in his senior year at Campbell Hall and is currently a three-star college recruit and is also rated the 31st-best player in California. The 6-foot-1 shooting guard was the main contributor during the 2024 CIF Southern Section Boys Basketball Championships. Although there are not many details available on his current stats, the young shooting guard scored back-to-back 40 points in two games for the Campbell Hall basketball team and has helped them to maintain a record of 3-0.

Central to Isiaah’s development is his father, Coach Chris Johnson, a respected basketball trainer and mentor. He has specifically worked with over 40 NBA players such as LeBron James, Ben Simmons, Jimmy Butler, Rajon Rondo, Dwyane Wade, etc. Interestingly, along with the “Flash” he has also set up many basketball academies under the ‘Wade Basketball Academy’ program, with the recent program being in Xiamen, China.
“Shoutout to the incredible Campbell Hall coaches and teammates who have been instrumental in Isaiah’s basketball story. It takes a village, and we’re blessed to have such an amazing support system,” wrote Johnson in his Instagram post.
When Wade referred to the blueprint in his Instagram story, it’s easy to speculate that he sees Isiaah following the same path of greatness. In 16 seasons the Heat legend averaged, 22.0 points, 5.4 assists and 4.7 rebounds in 1,054 regular-season games, which showcases his brilliance in the game.
