Dwyane Wade will become the first Heat player to receive a statue honor. The task of following up the legacy became even tougher for his son. Regardless, a few weeks ago, the 3x NBA Champion sent a motivating message, to show support in front of the world. Now again, after Zaire’s exploits in different leagues, he is back to strengthen his fundamentals.

On his Instagram story, the Naismith Hall of Famer re-shared the post. ” Zaire @zaire Jus Hoop Open Runs Highlights 🔥🔥🔥 #jushoop #juswin.” In the video, Dwyane Wade’s son managed to score a couple of buckets from the wing, even successfully with a floater. The impressive thing was he was not shy to create assists for his teammates.

“I just stopped trying [to please critics] after a while. I think that’s where growth comes in, maturing – I’ve just turned 21, so I’m just learning that I’m not going to be able to please [everybody] at the end of the day.” Zaire spoke to ESPN after his NBA G-league did not go as he planned.

Dwyane Wade’s son made his debut when he skipped college for the G League. Salt Lake City Stars, selected him as the 10th overall pick. Therein, he averaged 4.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game over 13 appearances. He was mostly on the bench and yet produced a shot rate, 36.2% from the field, alongside a three-point percentage of 36%.

However, the campaign ended in dismay because of a season-ending injury. That setback did not stop him, and he moved countries for his next team.

Dwyane Wade is proud of his son’s journey

In fact, Zaire moved to a different continent, to participate in the Basketball Africa League. During his African experience, he represented the Cape Town Tigers. In the league, his average increased to 9.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. Plus, during the match against the Ferroviário da Beira, he scored 17 points.

Although it was enough as the team would lose, Zaire also registered 3 rebounds and 5 assists, shooting 66.7% from the field. For his next adventure, he once again moved continents. “It’s your boy Zaire Wade here, man. Super happy to announce, coming out to compete in the TAT (The Asian Tournament) tournament. Can’t wait to get out there, compete with my teammates, my coaches and embrace the fans’ love.”

The team Macau Black Bears, even uploaded the first bucket of Zaire. He was named on the bench for his first game of the tournament. At half-time, Macau Black Bears were down by 5 points 29-34. But they made the eventual comeback winning the game 77-72.
