Have you ever imagined that the legend Dwyane Wade would run after someone all day? You don’t have to imagine, he is already busy doing that. Being a girl dad is hard for the 1.93m tall man. Why, you ask? Little Kaavia is high-maintenance. But her parents’ recent effort in helping her Girl Scout Cookie Weekend seems to please the child. Of course, anything for their miracle baby! Amid the happy family time, the Big Ticket just had to drop a bombshell.
Being a proud Dad, Dwyane Wade shared a series of Instagram stories showing how serious Kaavia was about being a Girl Scout. The Heat superstar even indirectly endorsed the Girl Scouts of the USA. And how did he do that? With the message “Hey, Girl Scout cookies, got to make sure we got and we support little kids.” Fans were swooning over how cute and serious Kaavia looked while working. Until Kevin Garnett reposted a video about the negative effects of eating Girl Scout Cookies.
In the Instagram story, the Wolves icon captioned, “Nooooooooo….I’m dead than a mf then😂😂😤😤💯damnn..can’t Hv SHHII no mo…..😤😤💯” The original video is from the Instagram handle ‘Toilet Time TV’. The commentator highlights the toxic ingredients that are used to make those cookies. Right, that’s what it said. Apparently, it contains aluminum, arsenic, lead and mercury. That’s some fatal combination right there. Guess who wouldn’t be eating those anymore?

Kobe Bryant, a Lakers legend and once a cookie seller
We can’t leave Kobe Bryant when talking about being the best girl dad! He helped his daughter Natalie become the Girl Scout with the highest sales in Orange County. Back when Kobe was playing for the Lakers, Natalie had joined the Girl Scouts. As part of learning about business and entrepreneurship, her parents decided to help her in selling cookies. His initial plan was to convince his then teammates to buy them. But, it didn’t work in his favor. Only a few rookies bought the cookies with the total sale amounting to only $4. It was then the other parent had to step in.
Luckily, Vanessa Bryant knew the one thing to persuade the Lakers. With just one sentence! “I need you to show him how badly you want to be here next year.” The result? They made sure to buy as many as they could. Who wouldn’t want to earn brownie points from the legend who commanded the locker room? Anything for their revered leader. What a brilliant proposal that was, Vanessa!

It can be noted that Kobe changed from being an introverted teammate during his early days to a respected leader eventually. His on-court and locker-room relationships with his teammates were healthy and admirable. On top of it, his dedication to the LA Lakers earned him the utmost love and respect from the city.
As the saying goes, the LA loves its superstars. A great player and a great father indeed. Besides Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant, who comes to mind when you think of a doting father and a great leader in the NBA circle?
