As the NBA world has been heading towards Las Vegas for the in-season tournament, Dwyane Wade recently joined a partnership in Florida that is bound to pull people away from Vegas. With the new incorporation of betting tables for the first time at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, numerous celebrities gathered to test their luck.

One of the most profitable gaming enterprises in the world is the Seminole Tribe. In 2007, the Seminole Tribe of Florida acquired Hard Rock International. Now they are taking their Hard Rock casino in Florida to another level by introducing new gaming tables to the casino.

Dwyane Wade placed the first bet at Hard Rock Casino

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in South Florida recently launched its first-ever sports betting tables, along with its craps and roulette tables in Florida. This means that the fans in Florida do not have to go to Vegas for a game from now on.

Stars from across various industries joined the function and were excited to be one of the first to place their bets on the tables. The Miami Heat legend, Dwyane Wade, was also in attendance at the event.

Wade was also one of the first to play craps at new tables. Along with Wade, there were other celebrities such as Fat Joe, Rick Ross, Ja Rule, Bruno Mars, Mike Tyson, and so on placing bets at the other tables.

According to the Miami Herald, the partnership between Hard Rock and Seminole pays 650 million a year in revenue to Florida. Although Wade considered Florida his home for over a decade, he made the move to relocate for political reasons.

Wade has openly talked about the reason he left Florida. Although he was enjoying the tax breaks that he received in Florida, nothing was as important for the three-time champion as his family.

He left Florida because he understood that his family wouldn’t be accepted by the state after the state recently passed many anti-LGBTQ laws. His daughter had come out as part of the LGBT community a few years ago, and Wade understood that these new rules from the state wouldn’t make his family feel comfortable in Florida, so he decided to leave with his family.
