Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have been together for more than a decade. And it shows! First and foremost, their comfort with each other is evident. Lighthearted yet odd moments such as farts, seem to be a starter for the couple. Recently, the 3x NBA champion had a savage truth-revealing moment while accusing his wife, Gabrielle Union, of one thing as he sympathized with a certain fan group.
Union’s Instagram story showcased her husband dancing his heart out on a beach. Shortly after an embarrassing failure to dance, Wade called out Union for being a hater while expressing sympathy for those in a similar situation to his. “You’re a hater bro. Everybody out there who lives with a hater, your boy understands,” Wade said.
The dance resembled Wade’s celebratory moves on the court or perhaps a dance from Union’s hit movie Bring It On. She played the role of captain of a cheerleading squad. “Y’all recognize this dance?!?” Union posed the question to her 21.4 million followers. “This isn’t what I meant by 10 toes down,” Union captioned it.

The 51-year-old was referencing the long caption she had down for their 10th anniversary about a month ago.
On August 31st, the couple seemed to renew their vows in front of their family and friends. Apart from a few clips of the ceremony, they also penned down notes on Instagram. “10 years of having a very long, very fun, very loving, never ending sleepover with my homie, lover, partner, and best friend… We stand united and we thrive. 10 toes down, 10 years in, forever to go,” she had written.
But sure, it wasn’t all sunshine for the couple. In one of their posts, the Miami Heat legend admitted that their ninth year was tough. Both had packed schedules filled with consecutive events and, of course, their respective businesses. But these little moments make it all worthwhile and Union ensures to emphasize.

Just recently, Union was at the Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of her new movie Riff Raff. In an interview therein, she spoke about how couples often don’t show the real side of their marriages on social media. The Wade couple has quite been following it themselves, with a side of a little humor of course.
About a week ago, the Bring it on actress shared a post — tagging Dwyane Wade — suggesting that a couple who fart in front of each other have a healthy relationship. “Farting in front of partner can be a positive sign of health and relationship strength, according to science,” the post read.

She suggested that couples should start posting about their lighter moments, like farts. Union believes that these everyday occurrences, including heated debates about films, are what married life truly looks like. “Farts, movies and debating the ending of Presumed Innocent,” Union named. She also iterated that working on their individual lives has helped both of them grow and thrive more. Their continued shenanigans online, could just be the proof of that.
