Dwight Howard’s exit from DWTS on its historic 500th episode was received by NBA fans like an endgame. So it is likely that you missed last week’s semi-final which went on without eliminating the 5 remaining contestants. The bright news is on his expected appearance next week for the Finale for one last swoosh around the dance floor! But seems like Howard’s former dance partner Daniella Karagach is not going to make this short comeback as the DWTS screen welcomes all the celebrities once again.

The highlight is DH12’s IG Story reshared from Sasha Farber. It’s a video featuring Sasha’s former dancing partner Jenn Tran in a dancing pose with the 2020 NBA Champion. This new combination, since Daniella Karagach’s elimination, is intriguing with Farber making his teasing rounds. 

“Look at this partnership!” Farber made fun of the duo, who in return shared some excitement. “We coming for the finale babe, finale!” the former Laker’s star declared. This happened within no time since Karagach shared her emotional moment with Howard. “Reunited 🥹✨ #dd#dwts”, wrote the pro dancer while sharing a video where she hugs the incoming 6’10” former partner.

As for Tran, this must have been nostalgic considering her IG post before the semi-finals: “Happy Tuesday! Miss this so much can’t wait to cheer on all the semi finalists 🤩✨,” the Bachelor fame left beside her DWTS photographs with Farber. Meanwhile, fans could settle past disgruntlement. 

Despite being called out for their Halloween Nightmares Night improved performance, the Howard-Karagach pair received social media backlash over Tran-Farber’s elimination. Winning hearts with a contemporary to “Vampire” by Olivia Rodrigo, which got them a perfect 10 along with two nines and bonus points from the face-off couldn’t resist the final scores from getting them kicked off. This triggered many fans who judged Dwight Howard‘s face-off win against Ilona Maher as unjust.

The eventual elimination of Karagach in the 8th Episode with the lowest judges score of 48 and a drop in audience votes must have sorted this out. With the two stars coming together in the finale, it seems more appealing to viewers. Any expectations from the pair? 

Exciting combo on the table

One peculiarity of this duo is the presence of mind. Tran has proved it in her Oscars Night tango performance to “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody.” Here, a technical issue cut them off from music, when The Bachelorette alum dared to move on without music.

“I truly got very scared, and then there was no music, and I don’t know, like muscle memory just powered over, and I just kept going, and I just did what I had to do,” she reportedly said to People. 

As for our 3x DPOY, his Soul Train Night Cha Cha showcases some improvisations. However, it was perceived by many as a failure and the round got them only 23/40 from judges. Having said that, it was evidently a lack of practice according to the pair’s confessions. The point is that the new duo has something in common.

 If you care to look at the Halloween night, it also unveils something Tran has in common with Karagach. It is technique! The face-off round then got Tran judges comments for her technique like her hip movements, while Karagach is an accomplished pro dancer. This may help Howard with no dance background while having commendable energy to adapt for the finale.
