From meeting boxing legend Manny Pacquiao to challenging Internet sensation turned boxer Jake Paul—the Problem Child dreams of being a world champion one day. But with Howard set on his goal, he wants not only to fight Jake Paul but effectively end his dream.
Dwight Howard, in his recent Instagram post, wrote “Starting to plan my visit back to the Philippines to start training with Manny Pacquiao. Jake Paul I’m ready!” He also asked fans to vote for who the winner will be. Adding a cheeky remark in the end: “The answer is obvious.”

What at first seemed like a joke between Pacquiao and Howard, now seems like the former Los Angeles Lakers star is very serious and is training under the boxing legend.
The 3-time Defensive Player of the Year was seated at Paul’s latest fight where Paul earned his victory via TKO in the first round. Dwight Howard shared on his X “My brother 1 take Jake”. He recently signed with Puerto Rico’s Guaynabo Mets for the upcoming season. His basketball career is continuing abroad since the conclusion of the 2021-22 season.

Dwight Howard is 38 years old and not getting any younger. For the 2022-23 season, he signed with Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan. He suffered multiple injuries throughout the season, but because of his quality earned the Most Valuable Import award. Dwight Howard has not been in the league since the 2021–22 NBA season. He still feels there is some unfinished business with the NBA and continuing to play basketball, even though if it’s not at an elite level, will keep him in scoring condition. After last season, he is hoping that he remains fit and can impress teams this time around.
