A lot has happened in the last few years that often makes you wonder, is it the NBA or UFC? The primary reason this became a trend on social media is Draymond Green. The Golden State Warriors star is infamous for a short temper and a few out-of-control limbs that often seem to land on some players.
However, his recent confession sounds like even Green has had enough of it. The 33-year-old is looking for change, maybe a little too much that even his victims won’t like. Following Green’s recent statement, NBA veteran Chandler Parsons reflected on the reason behind his recent meltdown.

On a recent episode of his podcast, Green said, “I was wrong regardless of what I was trying to do. None of that s**t matters. I was wrong and I accept my fault and I apologize”.

Not only that, the 4x NBA champion is also blaming himself for putting his family, his kids, and his team through all the drama that has unfolded. He said, “My children have had to live [the consequences of my actions]. [Warriors GM] Joe Lacob made a commitment to me this past summer for four years. The conversations we’ve had leading up to this, I felt miserable”.
Green said that NBA commissioner Adam Silver talked sense into him, or else he was considering retirement from the league. The 33-year-old also said that his coach, Steve Kerr, met him after his recent suspension and they both cried after Green made some heartfelt confessions over his recent behavior. Now, not everyone is buying into what he said on his podcast, but Chandler is willing to be an optimist for Green while also tracing the team’s environment back to his incident with Jordan Poole.

Parsons said, “Seems like this whole season has been irritating[for the Warriors] and it kinda stems from Draymond Green and the incident with Jordan Poole.” Regardless, Parsons thinks that Green’s realization will help the team get back on track. He said, “Hopefully [Draymond Green] comes back and he’s more mature, and he’s a better teammate, and he keeps his emotions in check, and got the proper help”.

It has been a terrible season for the Warriors so far. They’re currently #12 on the Western Conference charts with a record of 17-19. More importantly, the team that won 4 titles in 8 years looks distorted, and hopefully, it can all be restored once they regroup.
