There’s a lot of opinions about Draymond Green and Jusuf Nurkic’s new feud. To DeMarcus Cousins, the entire debacle is just “goofy s**t.” Boogie was on All The Smoke sounding off on the recent theatrics that have us reaching for popcorn. The former Dub is obviously on his onetime teammate’s side. Speaking of the debacle, Cousins is enjoying the rivalry and feud thrown in the mix.
“I would definitely want to watch and just to speak on the basketball part of it. One you can’t, on one hand, want to be a part of the nonsense and part of the circus and, you know, kind of nitpick and, you know, act like you’re one of those guys. And then once you kind of get out play, then you run to the principal’s office and well, ‘He’s not the same and he’ll never change.’ Like that’s whack… that’s some goofy s**t.”

If it isn’t obvious already, Boogie is taunting Jusuf Nurkic. The Suns star faced off against Draymond Green on Saturday after their last altercation resulted in the latter’s suspension. After the Warriors won 113-112, Nurkic spilled his bitterness in the post-game presser. In true DrayMagic fashion, he responded just the same.
Nurkic and Green had verbal jaunts on the court throughout the game. After the game, Nurkic told the press, “It’s sad. He didn’t learn anything. It’s just a matter of time. He’s going to knock somebody else again. He doesn’t deserve a chance.”

Cousins, who played alongside Green in the 2018-19 season, was not impressed with Nurkic’s off-court venting. “Nurkic carries himself like he’s this big tough, you know, big time defender, big man. Whatever you want to say like, it’s not adding up brother. You will either be the tough guy and take your licks when they come or just be quiet and play basketball.”
Boogie had Rajon Rondo agreeing with him on the show. Green apparently has more people in his corner than Nurkic.

Not one to take it lying down, the 2017 Defensive Player of the Year responded at his own team’s press conference. But he also went on his Instagram to write, “What did I do to not deserve a chance? Severely outplay you?”
He’d also tag Shaquille O’Neal and his The Big Podcast because Shaq expressed his displeasure over Nurkic’s rants in the immediate aftermath of Green’s suspension. Moreover, Stephen Curry and others also stood behind Green.

Most of the NBA community praised Green for not getting baited by provocations and focusing on the game. After Cousins, now Shaq’s probably going to say something about this drama on his podcast.
