A new rivalry is brewing in the Western Conference. The Minnesota Timberwolves and the Golden State Warriors played against each other for the second time in three days. Anthony Edwards had already issued his challenge to the Warriors. The 22-year-old also made it clear that? he is not a fan of Draymond Green‘s constant talking on the floor. Thankfully for?Ant-Man, he did not have to hear much of Green in their game today, as the former DPOY was ejected early in the game.
Although getting an ejection is not uncommon for Draymond Green, a former NBA player feels the ejection was unwarranted. Having played both with and against Green, this 2016 NBA champion has tried to hilariously defend the defensive forward’s actions.

Even before the opening basket, a scuffle broke out between the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves. After seeing the ejections that happened in the early minutes of the first quarter, Richard Jefferson noticed something hilarious and wanted to share it with his fans.
The referees ejected Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and Jaden McDaniels. Although the initial confrontation was between Thompson and McDaniels, Green was ejected even though he was apparently trying to ‘de-escalate’ the situation, according to Richard Jefferson.
Richard Jefferson hilariously said that Green should not have been ejected from the game for head-locking Rudy Gobert while trying to hold back his smile. He captioned his commentary with “Help me understand.”

In the video, Jefferson sarcastically said, “I don’t know why Draymond was kicked out. See, he came in as a peacemaker. He came in to de-escalate the situation. That needs to be taken into account… I feel like Draymond came in as a peacemaker.”

Even if Green might have had good intentions and just wanted to protect his teammate, he did put Rudy Gobert in a headlock, who was actually trying to separate both Klay Thompson and Jaden McDaniels.
It seems that Draymond Green is making new rivals every time the Wolves are in town.

The two teams faced off against each other two days ago. Towards the end of the game, both Green and Anthony Edwards squared off against each other on the floor.
Edwards even got a technical foul for staring at the opponent after a dunk. The young guard previously stated that he wants to play against the Warriors in the playoffs. This is just so he can be the one to send Draymond Green home.
But it’s very unlikely that Green would go down without a fight or without getting ejected, at least. Draymond Green has been ejected 18 times in his career. But according to NBC News, whenever he is playing without Stephen Curry, his likelihood of getting ejected is higher.
