The son and ex-wife of arguably the most successful NBA duo of all time, Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen, are quite the couple. Considering the tension that exists between Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, the controversial couple always manages to make the headlines for many reasons.

In a recent episode of the hit podcast show “Separation Anxiety with Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan” hosted by the couple, Marcus talks about changing his name and compares his name with every other family member.

Changing his name from “Marcus” to “Marquisio”

In the latest podcast episode of “Seperation Anxiety“, Marcus talks about changing his name to his nickname “Marquisio“. Upon asking Larsa what she thought about the idea, she said, “I like Marcus better.” to which Marcus replies, “I do too.“.

Marcus then tells a small fact about the Jordan family, which many NBA fans may not have noticed. Marcus said, “When I was a kid, every member of my family has seven letters in their first names. So Michael, Juanita, Jeffrey and Jasmine, all seven letters and Marcus is the only name with six letters.”

Marcus further says, “So when I was a kid, I used to beg my mom to add an ‘S’ to my name so that it would be Marcuss.” to which Larsa immediately replies, “Aww that’s so cute.”

Despite the obvious chemistry between Larsa and Marcus, the NBA legends with whom they share a strong connection, either in the past or present, have rarely seen eye to eye.

The Michael Jordan-Scottie Pippen debate and what does it mean for the controversial couple

Every NBA fan is aware of the animosity between the famous Chicago Bulls duo that came to light after the release of the Netflix documentary “Last Dance” which was based on the historic Chicago Bulls’ championship runs in the 1990s. Scottie Pippen was not happy with his portrayal in the Netflix documentary and has been very vocal about it too.
