According to the tweet by The SNKRS Leaker, “Not loaded yet on SNKRS, but they are loaded on the DTLR release calendar. Kobe 4 ‘Philly’ are also set for the same day.” Seemingly, the Kobe 4 “Philly” and the Kobe 4 “Venice Beach” are set to make a comeback together on 13th April 2024. Both will come in the family size and range in cost from $90 to $190. Let us dive into the specifics of the Protro edition.

The Nike Kobe 4 “Philly” will return since their original launch back in 2009. They will have a blue body with red insoles along with white colorway details. They will also have a reflective 3M star-designed streak along the ankle collars. The Philly range is perfect to honor his childhood city where his father played for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Nike Kobe 4 “Venice Beach” are all about the high-spirited Cali beach. The invigorating colorway used in these shoes takes inspiration from the sun, the sand, the waters, and the entire scenery. Relaunching back from 2013, the sneakers will continue to be the standout piece due to their rich vibrant colors giving a tribute to the art, culture, and side-lined basketball courts on the beaches of LA.

The two shoes being launched in the Summer highlight and pay tribute to the special bond that the 5x NBA champion had with the two locations. One is the electric and vibrant Venice Beach in Southern California where the LA Lakers legend spent his many days while playing for the team.

The “Venice Beach” is slated to release on April 13th with an estimated price tag of $190. The other, shouting out Kobe’s hometown of Philly where the brotherly love can never leave you alone, is expected to release at the same price and on the same date.
