The waves of controversy are never too far from Bronny in recent times. From Rich Paul to Gilbert Arenas, everyone has shared their opinion on Bronny’s NBA draft registration. Sebastian Telfair became part of the discussion when asked about Bronny’s selection during an interview with VLAD TV. Luckily, the former NBA player showed his support for him in the interview.

“Jo (Jordan) have better high school stats than Bronny. I don’t think so, I doubt it right,” was Telfair’s reaction when the interviewer compared Bronny with Marcus Jordan. Bronny averages 5.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 0.9 steals per game over his first 14 college games, shooting 37.2% and 27.5% from three. Despite a late start, he shows promise. In contrast, Jordan averaged 8.0 points as a freshman at UCF, eventually scoring 28 points in a game and leading an upset over No. 16 Florida. James could follow a similar growth trajectory with more experience.

The interviewer asked Sebastian Telfair if he thinks that Bronny will make it into the NBA this year. The former NBA star didn’t waste time answering “Yes absolutely”, which shows how much he believes in Bronny’s ability. However, they asked him again if the NBA would care about Bronny if he wasn’t LeBron‘s son, also mentioned: ” he was coming off the bench on USC”. And again Telfair showed faith in young James, “yes”, he said.

According to Telfair, they shouldn’t be thinking about someone who might say something because Bronny is LeBron’s son. The VLAD TV once again stressed the point that if Bronny doesn’t get drafted, he can become a free agent and the Lakers could potentially bring him on board for the G-league. However, Telfair provided the reasons behind his strong take, “It not that much talent in the NBA draft this year for Bronny not to get drafted.” He added, “This kid is a good player, bro.”

Why did Telfair say LeBron would not have been great in college?

Sebastian Telfair didn’t stop there. He made another controversial yet strong statement in the interview. ” I told people this year ago LeBron wouldn’t have been that great of well this what I thought. I felt LeBron wouldn’t have been that great of a college player,” he said. And the interviewer exclaimed, “Really? “. The former NBA star had his own reasons to believe so. He explained that Bronny’s papa is not suitable for small college gyms and he prefers open spaces to operate. “When LeBron gets the ball he goes all the way to half-court before he goes because he wants everybody to take their time, he wants everybody to space, “ he said on the show.

Another interesting topic came up next, when the interviewer asked Telfair, “What about KD?” According to Telfair, Kevin Durant would dominate college basketball as he doesn’t need much space like LeBron. However, he also shared college basketball is a distinct thing and each plays differently. “They would have dominated but still not how they do in NBA, it’s a different way, how we playing right,” he said.

Do you agree with Sebastian Telfair? Can Bronny become an NBA great, just like his papa? Share your thoughts in the comment section and share this article with your friends.
