Isiah Thomas cannot take much pride in the Detroit Pistons as they stand at an embarrassing 4-38 record in the East. At least he has Detroit Lions for the time being. The NFL divisional round has been nail-biting so far with upsets and stunners. The Lions vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers was one such affair, in which the former have made it to the Conference Championship after 33 long years. Thomas couldn’t control his excitement and he shared a fitting tribute, along with a warning for the team.

The Detroit Lions secured the top spot in the NFC North division with an impressive 12-5 record. The hopes were high and, as expected, they did not disappoint. With Jared Goff leading the side, the Lions defeated the Buccaneers, 31-23, to make it to the Conference Championship after 33 years. At last, Isiah Thomas could boast about Detroit again. The 2x NBA champion shared a picture of him with famous Lions’ wider receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who secured 77 yards and a crucial touchdown. Isiah Thomas shared in the caption, “Let it be known @detroitlionsnfl vs Everybody #DetroitLove”
