Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen are still the talk of the town. Being related to NBA legends like Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, it’s difficult for the couple to find normalcy in their lives, as everyone has an opinion on Larsa and Marcus’s relationship. Though it may be found unacceptable, both Marcus and Larsa are still going strong.

One thing that sticks out is the fact that Larsa still goes by Pippen as her last name, although it has been almost two years since she got divorced. But both Marcus and Larsa have now put an end to it as the couple reveal their plans for the future.

The Pippen name won’t be staying for too long

Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen recently joined the Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast. During their conversation, both Marcus and Larsa were questioned about a recent image they uploaded on social media.

In the photo, Marcus can be seen holding Larsa’s belly and palming it. When asked about it, Marcus nonchalantly claimed,”I’m always holding her tight, that’s always there.” He said there is nothing to it right now, but “if it’s in the cards, it’s in the cards.“

Then Pablo Torre asked them that if they were ever going to see that happen, what would be the baby’s last name? It’s something to mull on, as Larsa still has Pippen as her last name, even though it’s been two years since she has been divorced from Scottie Pippen.

Marcus quickly responded and said, “That’s easy. It is going to be Jordan, 100%.” Marcus is determined and wants them to only have the Jordan name, although MJ has publically disapproved of this relationship.

Larsa did not respond to any of this, so Pablo asked yet again if there would be a chance for both Pippen and Jordan to be in the name, and Marcus rejected the idea again, saying, “If there are any kids, they’re going to be Jordans.” He said that once they got married, her last name would be Jordan, so if they had a child after that, then the child would also be Jordan.

Why has Larsa Pippen still kept her last name?

It has been two years since Larsa got divorced, and yet she still has Pippen as her last name. When asked why she had not changed it yet or gone back to her maiden name, she said that it was because of her children.

Her kids all have the last name Pippen, and she wants to be connected to them. As she has spent years with the Pippen name, her brands are also recognized based on that, so changing it could disrupt her business and recognition. But Larsa has confirmed that when she gets married to Marcus, she will change her last name from Pippen to Jordan.
