Isiah Thomas replies, ?It’s interesting the position I have. So, I sit on the board of ?United Wholesale Mortgages? and Matt Ishbia owns the Phoenix Suns. And I am an advisor/consultant to him.?.?
The NBA Hall of Famer further explains, ?I also sit on the board of Madison Square Garden. James Dolan, who owns the New York Knicks, ?The Sphere? in Vegas which all of you at some point have got to see!?.?Isiah Thomas then states that he is probably the only person and former NBA player who sits on the board of two NBA teams. He laughs as he says, ?Which is unique!?

A few months ago, the owner of the Phoenix Suns and CEO of ?United Wholesale Mortgage?, Matt Ishbia, publicly stated that Isiah Thomas had no role to play in the Phoenix Suns.
