Shaq has had a lot of fun at the expense of others. From poking Barkley?s use of double-meaning words to showing pics of Kenny Smith?s pink shorts to everyone, Big Diesel doesn?t mind using other sports analysts in order to get a good laugh and entertain the audience. Most of the time, he gets away with it scot-free. But this time, the target of the joke fired back at Shaquille O?Neal.
His latest target was another NBA Analyst, who didn?t hold back on his response and even went so far as to bring up the comments months after they were made.

The former Los Angeles Lakers big is part of TNT?s ?Inside the NBA? crew, alongside the Round Mound of Rebound, Charles Barkley, Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith and Hall-of-Famer Ernie Johnson Jr. Together, the four of them have brought new levels of banter to NBA commentary. During a postgame show, they continued the trend. Shaq and Barkley started to draw a comparison between the hairlines of Celtics player Derrick White, and ESPN Journalist Stephen A Smith, and the rest is comedic history.
“Stephen A. play for the Celtics!? said Charles Barkley.
?He do First Take in the morning and play for the Celtics, that dude’s going to be tired!”
While Ernie was trying to get them back on track, Shaq and Barkley couldn’t control their laughter over the joke. The ESPN’s ?First Take? commentator was quick to respond.
He went on Twitter to write that while he loves his brothers on TNT, he?s going to ?get Shaq and Charles” for comparing him with Derrick White.
Imma get y’all @SHAQ and Charles!

He even poked more fun at the two bigs by going on live TV and responding to their comments. Now, months since the initial joke, Smith has revived the Celtics comparisons on a new platform.

Threads, the brand new Twitter-like social network was launched yesterday and is expected to act as an adversary to Elon Musk?s Twitter. More than 30 million users have already signed up for Mark Zuckerberg’s counter-strike. Amongst them was Smith himself.
