Shaquille O’Neal wants it, he gets it! The Big Aristotle is the same man who once convinced his son to buy a Dodge Charger instead of a Tesla. However, after seeing one of Tesla’s best creations, the 4x NBA champion quickly changed his mind and decided to buy one for himself. Just a few weeks after failing to get inside the same vehicle for a $3 million challenge, seems like the 7’1 tall NBA legend has finally got his customized version.

A member of the automotive dealership, Effortless Motors, recently shared that the Lakers legend purchased a Tesla Cyberbeast. “Just got off phone with Shaq! On the way to deliver him a cyberbeast! Let’s go!” the man wrote in the caption of his Instagram post along with a screenshot of his video call with Shaq.

The 52-year-old likely made the decision after attempting to get his podcast guest to trade his Cybertruck for his own truck. Just a few days ago, in an episode of The Big Podcast, the 4x NBA champion made a hilarious negotiation with his special guest, YouTuber Funny Marco, to trade cars. “Can I buy your Cybertruck right now? Can I trade your truck for my truck?” Shaq asked.

After all, O’Neal has a fondness for Tesla, which is evident since he was even willing to trade his Dodge TRX worth $159,999 for the Cybertruck worth $61,000. But that was before he tried to get inside the Cybertruck and once again got a reality check.

As soon as the Los Angeles Lakers legend made his request, Marco challenged him that he wouldn’t be able to get inside the car. He even agreed to a $3 million prize money for the challenge. “Oh damn, you really can’t fit in a Cybertruck? Would you fit in there for $3 million?” Marco asked.

However, Shaq failed to complete the challenge. Although he managed to get into the car, he was visibly squeezed into the otherwise spacious cabin. “So my truck is better than your C truck,” he claimed. The 7’1, 325-pound O’Neal has to customize most of his cars to fit inside it.

The 4x champion has always preferred other companies over Tesla for the same reason. But he also owned a Tesla Model S. Back in 2020, he even asked the brand owner Elon Musk to craft a car that makes him fit in. “Elon, you wanna make a big boy Tesla?” the Los Angeles Lakers implored. The question now is whether the $76 billion worth company finally made the changes that the Big Man has been waiting for so long.
