In 2024, Larsa Pippen’s love life was nothing short of a rollercoaster. Rumors swirled about her taking the next step with Marcus Jordan, only for the relationship to hit a series of dramatic turns. The couple broke up, reconciled around Valentine’s week, and then parted ways for good. Adding to the emotional turmoil, some of Larsa’s friends distanced themselves or even mocked her during the ordeal. Interestingly, the Real Housewives of Miami star recently revealed that she faced a similar lack of support during her divorce from Scottie Pippen.
“The first time I felt like I started losing friends is when I was going through a divorce. Oh, and I really realized that a lot of people in my life liked me just for being Scotty’s wife. And then that was the first like you know, cleanse!” Speaking to her BFF Michelle, Larsa Pippen talked about her finding her individuality through the divorce proceedings. As per the reports, she holds the rights to Scottie’s Chicago Bulls 401(k) and savings plan trust.
“It was like me going through my divorce; me losing a lot of people along the way, and then I had other friends. They basically liked me more when I was Scotty’s wife and not necessarily Larsa. And I was trying to figure out who Larsa was Like I didn’t know how to navigate being single.” Although she did not name-drop anybody in person, the 50-year-old once called out her friend who left her high and dry during her breakup with Marcus Jordan.

“Most of my girlfriends were there for me, except Lisa. That part kind of stung.” In conversation with Page Six, the mother of 4 explained disappointment over the lack of support from friend Lisa Hochstein. She even spoke about the issue and about her absence from Larsa Pippen’s life. “I don’t even know how many shows she’s doing, but she’s always doing a show or a brand deal or breaking up or making up with Marcus. They’re both dear friends of mine. So I support them no matter what happens… They’re just two crazy kids in love.”

Hochstein’s statement to Us Weekly in May was not the only time people close to the Pippen made fun of her situation with Marcus Jordan. RHOM co-stars Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton were never fully convinced of the couple’s breakup. Their reasoning was simple since the former couple got back during Valentine’s week just days after splitting from each other.

Patton said, “Now that other things have come to light, I’m starting to feel like we’ve all been scammed,” The former publicity executive spoke to the People,” I see the flowers, the paparazzi photos, I was like, ‘Oh my God. Is she playing all of us? That upsets me.” Nepola agreed ,”Everybody knows it’s staged … and this is why we’re even talking about it because it’s so ridiculous at this point.”

But it turns out it was not staged. The former couple has been on their journey ever since. In between they even took some shots at each other, but it seems water under the bridge moment. But once again, Larsa Pippen had her friends turned their back when she needed them the most.
