Charles Barkley commends the Boston Celtics fans among others

It must be tough not to like Sir Charles as a TV personality. However, he has been in the wrong a few times. Be it his ‘beef’ with the San Antonio women or butting heads against the mighty Shaq, he goes on to lay it out his own way. As a passionate individual who loves the game of basketball, he has some harsh opinions to deliver sometimes. Although this gets a fair amount of uproar on the internet, since it is Sir Charles, he gets a free pass. Back in May this year, Barkley mocked the Celtics fans on his show. He had said, “In fairness, if the Celtics lose this series, they still got the Bruins.” The Boston franchise boasts a massive 7 million followers on their social media and their fans are often considered as one of the most passionate fan bases.

Including his own 76ers fans, he said that fans on the East Coast are way more passionate than those on the West Coast. He listed out teams like the Celtics, 76ers, and New York Knicks as the teams who have the best fans.

Durant has fired back at Barkley as well, often asking him to let it go because he will never take Barkley’s opinions seriously.
