Is Dwight Howard's DWTS journey a testament to perseverance or a struggle against insurmountable odds?

With just six more competitors remaining for Dwight Howard to win against, the race on DWTS is heating up. Even after scoring the lowest with 24 on Disney Night, the celebrity and pro were saved, thanks to the audience votes. Throughout the season, the former NBA champion has faced multiple challenges and this week he will face his fears head-on. For the Tuesday evening episode, the duo is gearing up for Halloween Nightmares Night, and in a BTS photo, Daniella Karagach explained how she magically matched the Center.

Yes, the 5 foot 3 pro dancer was side-by-side with the 6 foot 10 D12. How is that possible, one may ask. Well, Karagach explained in the comments, as she wrote, “the apple box didn’t make the cut 😂😂😂.” It’s not the first time she has mentioned the apple box, which helps her eliminate the nearly two-foot gap.

Apple box = Main character 📦✨,” as she took the support of the box, to stand and match her partner’s height. Previously, she was a winner on DWTS season 30 alongside another NBA star Iman Shumpert. But even his 6 foot 5 stature falls short in comparison with the 3x DPOY. That is why she has spoken about the difficulties of dancing, as Dwight Howard is the tallest partner ever.

Anything side by side works. Anything in frame is very difficult to do… We make it work,” Karagach revealed. For Tuesday’s episode, the NBA Champion Dwight Howard and pro-Daniella Karagach will perform a contemporary. Given the Halloween theme, DH12 becomes the nightmare: the boogeyman, as they perform on ‘Ring Around The Rosie’ by District 78 featuring Natalia Lillee.

Is this the end of Dwight Howard’s DWTS journey?

Low scores have been a feature for the former Lakers star during his latest adventure. From the beginning, he knew it would be difficult, so he took up the challenge. Additionally, he embarked on this journey to make a statement to his kids that no challenge is hard enough to quit, and on the Dedication Night, the 8x All-Star performed Rumba to ‘Shoot for the Stars’ and dedicated the performance to his five kids.

Recently, on Gil’s Arena, he highlighted his challenges of being a non-dancer, “That’s the hardest part because for me, when I hear a song, I already got that rhythm in my head. But then that’s not the same rhythm. That’s not the same steps. So if the song is real slow, like the other week, I performed my song for my kids that I made.”

And in another podcast, he admitted to forgetting his steps during the week 3 performance. Right at the end of the performance, Dwight Howard was supposed to perform a back-and-forth routine with Karagach but ended up spinning away. Although the judges did not notice it, the scores have been low for a long time. Last week, he received three eights, and the audience votes saved the duo. So will this mark the end, or will DH12 cook a performance of a lifetime?
