Celebrity birthdays are always an extravagant event. Whether it be mainstream artists or Hollywood celebrities, major names from the industry gather to have a good time. Last night was one such night. Stars from multiple spheres showed up and showed out for a grand 50th celebration. Big gun names made it to the event. Even the basketball world saw some representation from the Michael Jordan family.

While His Airness himself wasn’t present, his son Marcus and potentially future daughter-in-law Larsa Pippen made their appearance.

In a star-studded evening, the glamor world came together to celebrate an icon. 50 years and 4 Grammy-Award victories later, Dave Chappelle has accomplished quite a bit. Whether it be music or comedy, Dave has conquered every genre. However, it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. Embroiled in controversies over the years, Chappelle hasn’t always been at the highs of the entertainment world. But, he’s unapologetic and continues to enjoy life to the fullest.

An enjoyment that entailed two separate birthday celebrations. The first, at a sold-out Madison Square Garden show, that Justin Timberlake too attended, was just the beginning. Instead, the real party took place in the Comedy Cellar in Greenwich Village.

A more personal gathering included names like TI and Chance the Rapper making an appearance. However, all eyes were on Scottie Pippen‘s ex-wife. Larsa looked absolutely stunning with her beau Marcus Jordan.

Sending wishes to the icon and giving a sneak peek into the cutting of the cake, the 49-year-old seemed in a good mood.

And why wouldn’t she be? It could be any day now that a marriage is officially announced.
