Despite His Father’s ‘Disapproval’ of Their Relationship, Michael Jordan’s Son Addresses the “Part of the Game” of Dating Larsa Pippen

Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen are related to two of the most influential people in the NBA, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. Despite the disapproval of Jordan of their relationship, the couple is going strong and has their own podcast. In Separation Anxiety, they speak about the intricacies of their relationship, the troubles they face, and Hollywood gossip. 

In a recent episode titled ‘A Premature Proposal?’, they speak about many such things. One topic that stood out was Marcus Jordan addressing the things that come along while dating Larsa, which he claimed, “It’s part of the game.”

Marcus Jordan’s response: Embracing Larsa’s dating history with confidence

Larsa Pippen, whose ex-husband Scottie Pippen was an NBA champion and Michael Jordan’s teammate, discussed her past relationships and offered advice on how to create a harmonious one.

In the episode, she emphasized the importance of having a shared interest or value with your significant other and added, “It’s hard to date people who you don’t really have anything in common with them if you don’t have friends in common or like places that you like to go. It definitely makes it easier when you are in the same set of friends or community.”

Since nobody would have to make concessions for anybody. She suggested going out with someone you share interests with.

Following this, Marcus asked Larsa a pressing question, “Would it matter to you if your partner had been with several high-profile people before you?”

Larsa said she didn’t have an issue with that and wondered if Marcus did. Marcus responded with a firm “No,” saying that he is seeing Larsa, who has previously dated well-known figures, and added, “I mean obviously not. You have been with some notable people in the past, and I don’t think it bothers me. It’s just a part of the game, I guess.”

As the lovebirds made their relationship public, they faced a lot of criticism. The internet, the fans, and even their close ones criticized them, mostly because of the age gap of 16 years between them and the people they are related to.

In one such incident, Marcus’ dad, Michael Jordan, disapproved of their relationship publicly. His subtle reaction sent waves everywhere, and the couple was under immense scrutiny. 

However, Marcus revealed later that his father must have played around the reporters and just wanted to avoid the cameras. He even clarified by saying his father was in complete trust with Marcus’ relationship with Larsa.
