Howard earned upwards of $350 million during his career. Yet, Royce Reed, a?former cheerleader for the Orlando Magic, revealed the extensive negotiations it took for her to secure child support from the 18-season veteran.

During the conversation, the host asked the actress about how much the former NBA player pays her for child support. In response to the question, Royce Reed shared the details about her legal struggle to get a decent amount of child support.?

Reed and Howard have a son, Braylon Howard, who was born in 2007. It was also the year that Dwight Howard first became an NBA All-Star. However, despite the growing fame and accompanied benefits, Howard and Reed fought tooth and nail for the child support payments.

Reed revealed, “Initially 2500, that’s it. And then it went up to 30. My attorneys were pushing for 30, but I was like no. I’m not going to do that.” Since Howard earned $350 million during his career, his child support amount also garnered criticism from the host.

Howard and Reed first got into a relationship in the early 2000s. After the birth of their son, they parted ways in 2009.
