After celebrating Thanksgiving with her daughters in Disneyland, it seems the celebration in the Bryant household continues. This time, the reason is none other than Bianka Bella Bryant. Earlier this year, she has been religiously practicing hooping with a WNBA legend. Clearly, another Mambacita is on the rise to play basketball. But today is all about celebration, and Vanessa Bryant kicked it off on social media with a sweet message.
“BB-8! BB is 8 today! Happy birthday to our Sunshine. We love you so much, Bianka! You bring so much love and laughter into our lives. You are so loved mama! 😘❤️🎉🎂🎉 You say it’s your BB8 birthday, and I’ll keep reminding you it’s your daddy (#8 ) year. ❤️.”
The BB-8 signifies the love of Star Wars by the family, the fictional character in the superhit classic. It’s not the first time that Vanessa Bryant has showcased her love for the franchise.

In 2020, the family celebrated Halloween with two special photoshoots. Vanessa was a shorter version of Darth Vader. The two little ones were a Storm Trooper and an Ewok, respectively. And Natalia was a much taller version of BB8.
The eldest daughter of Kobe and Vanessa Bryant wasn’t far behind. She added multiple stories with her younger sister, Bianka. The first picture was of the eight-year-old sipping from a cup “BB8!!!❤️🎂.” In the next story, she uploaded a photo from one of the rides during the vacation, with both throwing peace signs while posing for selfies. “Happy birthday to our BB!❤️.”

This year, we have seen Bianka on the court enjoying. But the way she has carried herself during those sessions has left an impression on a 3x WNBA Champion.

Bianka’s exploits leave mom, Vanessa Bryant, in awe
“We in the WNBA feel like Kobe was the person that uplifted our league… I think just in terms of him having his daughters and really teaching the game.” Candace Parker once spoke about the Lakers legend’s contribution to the game. Earlier this year, she took some time out to pass those teachings to Bianca.
What’s your perspective on:
Can Bianka Bryant live up to the Mamba legacy, or is it too much pressure?

“The assistant to the assistant 🏀coach 😃😁🤪 @candaceparker #ConeQueen #LoveMyVillage ❤️.” At a young age, if Bianka is making the right impressions on Candace Parker, then she must be doing something right. And with Vanessa’s promise of reminding her that 8 is Kobe Bryant’s year, the motivation would be even more after today’s celebration.
