On his visit to a $10 billion rich luxury house, Big Diesel was more than stunned after witnessing the reception received by a 47-year-old British legend. Widely known as a snooker superstar, looks like Shaq doesn’t even come close to this English veteran. 

What’s more surprising is the humongous difference in their social media followers. Despite a difference of nearly 32 million, looks like the 47-year-old has a larger influence than Shaq in China! Let’s take a look. 

British snooker legend breaks Shaquille O’Neal’s influence in China

Shaq’s influence can be noticed in both his net worth and his social media fan base. The worldwide recognized sporting superstar has a large influence after Michael Jordan in NBA history. However, the case was different in Macau, China. 

The $10 billion luxury had a few influential visitors, one among which was Shaq. There was Ronnie O’Sullivan from Britain as well, who made the 4-time NBA champion speechless. Despite having a larger influence in every aspect, Shaq did not receive the grand reception that O’Sullivan received. 

Moreover, it looked like the Chinese mob was present only to witness the snooker legend. Shaq has a whopping 32.5 million followers on his Instagram alone. Though O’Sullivan is a star in Britain, he has a fan base of 772k on his Instagram, which doesn’t come close to what Shaq holds. Yet, the claps and cheers were louder for the 47-year-old.

According to reports, O’Sullivan found Shaq really funny after the latter was confused at the loud cheers for him. The snooker superstar shared, “Shaq got a little bit of reception. When they introduced my name, I got just as loud as Shaq,”

He continued, “Shaq was looking down like that. Who is this dude? He came up to me, hey man, you are alright? I said I am cool. It was quite funny.”

It was all love between the two, but Shaq was indeed stunned looking at Ronnie O’Sullivan.
