In a recent ?X? post, Shaquille O?Neal gives his take on whether 7x NBA champion Robert Horry should be inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame. He states in his post, ?The answer is HMF YES, and yes I?m yelling.?.

Robert Horry, who retired from the NBA in 2008, was elated by the former Laker star?s support. He thanks Shaquille O?Neal on his Instagram story, ?Coming from you @shaq that?s my Hall of Fame moment. Much love my brotha.?.

Robert Horry is now a commentator for ?SpectatorSportsNet? for the Lakers and also has his own Spotify podcast channel called ?Big Shot Bob Pod with Robert Horry? where he discusses everything related to the NBA.

 

However, during his playing days, he was known as a ?clutch? shooter. He played alongside some legendary NBA teams which won him his seven championships. He won two with the Houston Rockets, two with the San Antonio Spurs, and three with the Los Angeles Lakers.?

Despite winning a staggering seven NBA Championships in his 17-year-long NBA career, he only averaged 7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. However, he was a great ?impact? player who made ?clutch? shots when his team needed him the most.

In the decades-long debate of whether NBA Championships equate to a player?s greatness more or the player?s actual contribution (through statistics) to the NBA team, Robert Horry’s ‘Hall Of Fame’ eligibility is still doubtful. Either way, being a seven-time NBA Championship is an achievement that very few NBA players can boast about.
