Considering the lucrative nature of the cigar industry, Rodman’s entry is a calculated decision, even with his claimed net worth. By 2024, the cigar industry will have generated an astounding $23.4 billion in sales worldwide, with the United States accounting for the majority of this income. Furthermore, younger customers are returning to cigars after decades of decline with an increasing tendency in their use.

The concept for the moniker of Rodman’s new cigar line came from his recent induction into the Chicago Bulls Ring of Honor. Commemorating Rodman as an element of the first class, the United Center in Chicago experienced the presence of basketball majors like Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. Rodman praised his supporters for their support by giving them a limited-edition cigar that marked his induction, even though he was unable to attend the event as a result of bad weather.

According to Adam Guard, CEO of Dreamer Cigars, “Dennis is not only a basketball legend but also a true original whose rebellious spirit and unique style is unmatched.” He continued further stating, “With the Dennis Rodman Ring of Honor Cigar, we aim to capture the essence of Dennis’s legacy and celebrate his extraordinary achievements.”
