The Hall of Fame weekend is just around the corner, and the buzz for next year has already started. As the list of eligible candidates that could be inducted into the 2024 Hall of Fame was announced, the excitement and the prayers began.

Among them was an NBA veteran, who was allegedly called Miami Heat?s legend, Dwyane Wade?s ‘substitute.’ But can he make it to the top honor in a year’s time?

Next year, the Hall of Fame will examine inducting Jamal Crawford, the renowned NBA player who was regarded as the best ball handler of his time. Crawford entered the NBA in 2000 and started playing as the team’s primary point guard and slowly transitioned to a solid bench option. He earned the nickname ‘J-Crossover’ for his out-of-the-world ball-handling skills.

Although Jamal has never won an NBA championship or been a part of the All-Star team, his playing style has won many hearts. The player shares a record with Lou Williams for winning the 6th man of the award most often. The best reserve player on a squad receives the ‘6th man’ honor. Crawford was an excellent player and teammate, evidenced by his track record.?

Despite the league’s negligence towards Crawford as an all-star and his missing out on being the NBA champion, Jamal still hopes to win one of the most significant accolades in the NBA – induction into the Hall of Fame.

‘The Score’ shared a picture announcing the names of eligible candidates to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, which Jamal further reshared and wrote, “Man???..God willing”, hoping to get inducted to cement his place as one of the greatest players.?

Replacing a Legend: Crawford takes Over Dwyane Wade’s spot on the show

TNT’s Tuesday night broadcasts will have a fresh face on their show starting next year. The record holder and three-time sixth man of the year, Jamal Crawford, will join the team. The 43-year-old will replace Dwyane Wade on the show to give his game insights.

Wade, the soon-to-be Hall of Famer and three-time NBA champion, announced that he is stepping down from all media commitments to focus seriously on his entrepreneurial ventures. Crawford’s insights from 21 years playing in the league make him the perfect fit for the role. This would also help the viewers to get a better understanding of the game.
