While music is typically not a familial industry, the arena of sports is. Whether it be the legendary Manning dynasty or the many current NBA players with ties in the league, sports is a common ground for family dynasties. Both Stephen Curry and fellow Akron-born LeBron James are continuing this tradition. However, Shaquille O’Neal may take this ideology to the music industry as well.
While he and his eldest son have already found success as DJs, another O’Neal might be in line. In an Instagram story, another O’Neal recently showcased his music composition skills.

The O’Neal domination of the music industry
The O’Neal family is taking over in virtually every facet, and more seems to be coming. The Los Angeles Lakers legend’s domination of the sport and the entertainment industry is common knowledge. Now, his progeny might be on a similar track.
Whether it is Myles O’Neal turning into a millionaire off a splendid modeling/DJ career or the youngest Me’arah putting college hoops on notice, the O’Neal takeover is here. However, another name seems poised to join the club.

Ant that name is Wonderkid and G-League hooper Shareef. While his basketball career is steadily taking off in the G-League, his latest IG story might suggest other avenues coming. The 23-year-old said, “BOUT TO SHOW Y’ALL SOME IPHONE BEATS I MADE DURING MY UBER RIDE”
With the battles that the young man has already overcome in his life, a breakthrough in the music industry wouldn’t be surprising. However, this time he might have a leg up. After all, his father and brother are both quickly becoming bonafide superstars of the music industry.

Since retiring, the former Miami Heat champion has expanded his business empire. Whether it be as a media member, comedian, or business mogul, he’s branched into several ventures. However, his biggest passion project remains his dalliance with music.
Starting off as a “celebrity DJ”, Diesel is quickly becoming a force of nature. Along with his son, Myles, who he thinks is miles ahead of him as an artist, the O’Neal family is becoming a mainstay in the field. So much so that the two were star attractions at the recent UFC 290 afterparty in Vegas.
