It seems the Flash has a lot to learn even now. After retirement, Dwyane Wade is often seen spending time with his family. With a successful basketball career and an equally thriving business empire, the 43-year-old fell short of one particular achievement. This was highlighted to him by his and Gabrielle Union’s 5-year-old daughter. 

Recently, in a clip, D-Wade was seen getting schooled by Kaavia James Wade Union. The Miami Heat legend’s wife Union is the one who captured the video. Here is what happened.

5-year-old Kaavia turns coach for father Dwyane Wade

This heartwarming episode was shared on the official Instagram page of Kaavia James. It showed an endearing father-daughter interaction. In the clip captured by Gabrielle Union, D-Wade and Kaavia were earnestly trying to refine their somersault skills. Quite an odd sport to try at home!

Despite that, the father-daughter team was committed and serious about their gymnastic goals. Kaavia seemed to be quite good at it too. Her mother hyped her up as she effortlessly flipped. The 5-year-old even went on to teach her father who appeared to struggle a bit.

D-Wade often shares his quality time with family

The couple often share heartwarming photos on social media, offering glimpses into their quality time together. Through Kaavia’s parent-run Instagram, we saw firsthand how she trumped her father athletically. Last week, she flexed her dancing skills in front of her 3x champion father.

But they have often spent some quality time outside of the house too. The Wades do seem to have a fondness for beaches. Maybe something to do with that Miami life. No wonder then that they are often spotted basking in the warmth of the sun. Recently, Union delighted fans by sharing a series of captivating snaps and snippets from their beach trip on Instagram.
