Despite the hopes CNN has for their show, it isn’t without caveats. Due to the backlash the company has gone through in recent months, the Gayle King-starrer might be a last-ditch effort. That would explain the decision to bring Charles Barkley on board. But, the first few months haven’t been without hiccups. After initial reports of increased hostilities between the show’s two hosts, another hindrance is upon us.

While a scheduling conflict is impossible to avoid, facing one before the show even premiers do not bode well for Chuck. Unfortunately, that is the situation the NBA Hall of Famer and Phoenix Suns legend might find himself in.
In a new report, the show that could potentially save CNN is already climbing an uphill battle. Those ideas about the downfall of the network have already made it to the ears of Barkley. Earlier in the year, he did acknowledge how he could potentially be coming on board a sinking ship.
The question, then, is whether the new show, too, will sink or swim. Despite one positive development, the general news around the show sounds bleak. In a new report, the show will be facing a new time slot in just its second week.

Trouble in Charles Barkley’s?Kingdom?
Before the show’s production properly got underway, it was Gayle who made her apprehensions public. Her doubts came from the Philadelphia 76ers legend’s propensity to dive into anecdotes. That isn’t the way King conducts her business and she was firmly against the idea of Barkley continuing his earlier methods.
However, with reports of the two getting along during practice runs, there was cause for optimism around the show’s future. But, with another setback, this time due to unforeseen circumstances, the show’s fortunes seem bleak. Can the two recover from this blow and put forward a stellar product?
