Charles Barkley Sets Up TNT Co-Host to Embarrass Shaquille O’Neal on Live TV With 1 Question

While Shaq is away, Chuck will play. Even when they’re not in a show together, Shaq and Chuck can’t hold back their antics. Shaquille O’Neal was in Studio J with Adam Lefkoe, Jamal Crawford and Warriors legend Baron Davis because Ernie Johnson, Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith, and Charles Barkley with Candace Parker are on March Madness. Shaq didn’t miss Chuck today but his frenemy was trying to change that. While Candace Parker appeared on King Charles, Chuck put her up to some mischief to annoy Shaq.

Since Barkley has to tolerate the big prankster on Thursdays after Candace has kept him in check on Tuesdays, Sir Charles had to ask, “Is Shaquille O’Neal a bigger jacka** on Tuesday night as he is on Thursday night?” Parker and Gayle King had a good chuckle at that question but it was serious for the Chuckster.

There’s only one answer to that question and the WNBA champ gave it precisely. “Shaq is Shaq 24×7.” But Parker also said she was star-struck.

Since becoming a regular at TNT, she’s covered two All-Star Weekends alongside Chuck. She’s, of course, on the TNT Tuesday panel with Adam Lefkoe, Jamal Crawford, and Shaq. She expressed how she grew up watching the two greats play and “The kid in me cannot believe that I am broadcasting with the Round Mound of Rebound and Superman.”

We’re going to see a star truck Candace because she’s heading to Phoenix with Chuck, Ernie, and Kenny for the Final Four coverage on TNT. Shaq’s schedule is unclear but perhaps she’s wishing he’s not around so she can dress comfortably.

Shaq has a flowery Tuesday

Last week, Candace Parker was dressed for spring in a floral number. But Shaq with his dolphin-aquamarine suit-wearing tastes, didn’t get it. He didn’t just make it a running joke, he connected everything to it.

From Rosie Perez references to remixing “Candy Shop,” Shaq brought out pun after pun. Even Lefkoe and Crawford were blaming her loud suit for distracting them from real analysis. Shaq even invited viewers to send in their best flower puns for a shoutout on live TV. Till the end, Parker was eye-rolls and sighs probably wishing she was in the Thursday shift instead.

On Thursdays, where Chuck is rained with stuff like toy duckies, Shaq was showered with flowers on Tuesday. So clearly the Tuesday crew cuts him some slack. Lucky for Parker, she gets to work with Chuck this weekend.
