He’s brought his son and closest friends from the NBA together for the Li Ning Tour in China. The occasion is made extra special by the presence of his former teammate from his Miami Heat days. Together they won three championships, and Wade went as far as to call him the greatest player in franchise history. The Flash is now celebrating his “brother’s” legacy with something fans can be a part of.

While on the Li Ning Tour, Dwyane Wade celebrated the outstanding 20-year career of Udonis Haslem. But it’s also a work trip. So the duo revealed the newest line under the Way of Wade collection.

Dwyane Wade’s sneaker empire under Li Ning continues to grow. He’s packing the star power in the brand’s China tour with his son, Zaire Wade, and D’Angelo Russell. But it’s Udonis Haslem who’s stealing the show. Wade’s been constantly giving his social media followers glimpses of the spectacular events.

Haslem is showing off he’s still got what it takes to continue in the NBA during the Li Ning tour. He retired following the 2023 Finals after 20 seasons with the Miami Heat. The franchise glorified his career across multiple events, but Haslem is far from done.

Wade and Li Ning also didn’t miss the chance to celebrate UD. They held an awesome retirement party during the China tour and shared the best moments of it on their social media. But it doesn’t stop there.

The retirement party is where Way of Wade, D-Wade’s sneaker offshoot of Li Ning, launched a special collection dedicated to Haslem. Wade shared glimpses of the collection on his Instagram Stories as well.

An Instagram page shared nine designs from the Way of Wade 1 PEs for Udonis Haslem. ‘The Flash’ reposted them between other snippets of the retirement extravaganza.

Wade and Haslem are much more than just teammates

Dwyane Wade retired as a Heat star in 2019. Haslem stepped away in 2023. Their bond remains unbroken and they make sure it’s known. Since his HoF enshrinement, Wade has shied from taking full credit for the famous Heat culture. He’s instead relegated the honor to his “brother”?Udonis Haslem.

It appears that Haslem is feeling that itch to play to a crowd. While he’s partying it up in China, he announced he’s coming out of retirement for a day. But not in basketball.

He’s instead suiting up for the Miami Marlins in September. Since the announcement, both his Heat teammates, Shaquille O’Neal and Dwyane Wade, responded. It’s a whole other ball game. But maybe UD could sport a special edition of footwear from Way of Wade on the occasion.
