Charles Barkley probably went back to his college days after he was roped in to cover NCAA basketball ahead of the first round today. The Philadelphia 76ers icon was joined by his TNT co-hosts Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson, who have hilariously accused him of cheating on live television! However, the 1993 MVP was smart enough to escape the criticism by taking a jab at Kenny Smith, as always.
Smith called out Barkley for copying and also mentioned that he must cover his answers from here on so that the latter wouldn’t cheat anymore. Barkley was in disbelief. He did not deny that he was not the one to cheat, but he was pretty sure that he wouldn’t copy from the “dumbest class” in school. To escape the allegations, the Sixers icon gave a piece of smart advice: “You never cheat off the dumbest class in school. That’s a lesson for you. Look at the smart kids if you are going to cheat off your paper.”
What’s ironic is that Charles Barkley accused former President Barack Obama of ‘cheating‘ too. This was about the upcoming March Madness!

Obama took the time to make his picks for the entire playoff bracket. The 62-year-old chose the UConn Huskies and the University of South Carolina to win the national championship in the men’s and women’s tournaments, respectively. Let’s take at look at the standings. The UConn men’s team ended at the top of the ‘Big East’ division with an 18-2 record. However, Charles Barkley was not buying it. He shared, “He went with the traditional pick. Everybody’s picking UConn…So he just copied it out of somebody else’s paper.”
On the other hand, the USC Trojans finished 2nd in a tight ‘Pac-12’ division with a 13-5 record. Barkley believes these are “traditional picks”. It’s common for most people to choose the top teams to win the tournament. Speaking of women’s basketball, Barkley added, “See, he picks up South Carolina because everybody in the world picks South Carolina…He [Obama] just cheated off everybody else in America.”
