Shareef O’Neal has made quite the noise on social media recently with shoutouts to several players. While the 23-year-old is not in the NBA himself, it is surprising to know he has played alongside several current NBA talents and the Phoenix Suns’ latest recruit is one of them. However, during his time with this 7’2 giant, both of them got humiliated by the Los Angeles Lakers legend and Shareef’s dad, Shaquille O’Neal.

As a son of an NBA icon, Shareef has had the opportunity to meet and hang out with many celebrities. One of them was a 33-year-old American rapper. Sadly, the former California Supreme teammates had to face serious consequences due to it.

The Phoenix Suns have brought in talents from various teams this off-season to build a balanced roster around their stars. Apart from Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, one player the fans are looking forward to is Bol Bol. The 23-year-old is known for gliding through defenders even though he is 7’2 tall. 

Ever since he signed with the Suns, Bol Bol has been in the gym to improve his game. Shooting from behind the arc, finishing with contact, fancy layups, and whatnot. Just like the fans, Shaq’s 23-year-old son Shareef was impressed with it too, as he shared a clip of Bol working out on his Instagram story. 

While this stands as a highlight, let us not forget Shareef’s team-up with Bol Bol. The 7’2 youngster got the opportunity to play for LA legend Shaquille O’Neal back in 2020. Shaq, who was impressed by Bol Bol’s talent, wanted his son to play alongside him. However, it looks like the two had other plans which Shaq did not like.

As mentioned before, Shareef has hung out with some big names in the industry. One of them was American rapper Soulja Boy, who joined Shareef and Bol Bol for a day out. However, the two made a huge mistake by making this plan before a game.

In a game where Shareef and Bol were supposed to play together, Shaq decided to teach them a lesson. The 4x NBA champion suspended the two for a game only for hanging out with the 33-year-old rapper.

Shaq shared in a show, “Him[Bol Bol] and my son are very similar. Very talented. But when you jump on them, they go to work. So him and my son went out with Soulja Boy one night before the game, so I had to suspend them…’Y’all out of the team.'”
