Apart from the famous Creative 7, a media production company, STAYME70 fashion label, and a wine brand VII (N) The Seventh Estate. Recently on a TV show, for the promotion of his wine, Melo brought a gift, which he revealed in the BTS clip. But why is the host flabbergasted?

Had to get my guy @jimmyfallon right with a bottle of Ode to Soul🙏🏾 @viin7estate @robertmondavi.” Carmelo Anthony added the post on his Instagram and in the video said, “Robert Mondavi, I told you I was coming correct with you. Diamond in the rough.” Such a gesture took aback Jimmy Fallon. “Oh my Gosh, What in the… What? Are you serious? I don’t even know how to pull it out.” Melo was quick and gave a witty reply, asking one of Fallon’s producers to do the job for him.

The Tonight Show host was still star-struck by the present and filmed it closely. “Wow, you can see my reflection in it. You see me smiling in it. Hi! Oh my Gosh, I’m not worthy man.” He continued and praised Carmelo Anthony for the creation. “How do you do this? This is so rad. I don’t even know If I can drink it bud.”

The bottle is a collaboration of the Knicks legend and Robert Mondavi, who accepted a deal back in 2003 with Constellation Brands worth $1.36 billion.

During the show with Fallon, he hilariously revealed his secret. “Super useful wine hack. A lot of people that I know like to sniff the cork. And I’d only tell you so much to really get you to know a wine. You got to eat the cork.” The 10x All-Star did not break character when he delivered those lines while promoting his product.

The wine industry is definitely on an upward trend. A single person annually consumes as per multiple reports, 9.9 liters of wine in the US. So, it made sense for Carmelo Anthony to enter the market, and he knew just what he was stepping into.

During the Wine and Spirits Festival, Melo candidly spoke about the challenges in this business. “It’s very difficult coming in as an athlete because so you, for some reason it’s just shut up and dribble it… We actually planted these seeds 10-15 years ago and we actually just starting to see the benefits from that.”

Since his Denver Nuggets days, Carmelo Anthony has always been a wine connoisseur. “I realized I need to stop spending so much money on consuming this wine and figure out what is the right business model in this industry.” His brand VII (N) The Seventh Estate, took three years to be established and create a name for itself in the $500 billion wine industry.

Previously, there was pushback from fellow athletes which Melo faced. “

Years ago, you didn’t see it. You was laughed at for drinking wine.” However, now he is one of the poster boys in this industry and is thriving. However, gifting it to a friendly host like Jimmy Fallon only makes sense.
