Just 17 years old and Kiyan Anthony already has more than just basketball to focus on. For those who are unaware, Carmelo Anthony‘s son also runs a line of clothing brand by the name of “One Way”. Started in February last year, the brand has already managed to collaborate with some big names. If trendsetting fashion is your thing, you should definitely read what the 17-year-old has planned next. As the said plan may soon put him on another level in the business.

Appearing in a video shared by Overtime, Carmelo Anthony’s only son revealed that he has already managed to make it a 6 figure brand. Significant growth considering, it has been just over a year since the launch. The next desire is to have an influential rapper to put on the brand on himself, and it’ll undoubtedly witness a significant boom.

“If I could have anybody in One Way, I would probably put a rapper like Lil Baby or like Drake in some One Way, like on a stage. So I feel like one of those people had the brand on, it would definitely blow,” Kiyan said in the video. Given the extent of impact the rappers have on fashion trends, the plan seems full-proof. But how feasible is it, you ask?

Getting someone as big as Drake will need a lot of financial resources, if the 17-year-old plans on doing it without his father’s help. But listen out the names he already managed to grab before you completely dismiss the budding talent’s big aspirations. It may seem a waste of time mentioning Carmelo Anthony, the 10x All-Star, being his father. But his NBA reputation surely attracted some other names from the basketball community.

This includes Orlando Magic’s Cole Anthony, who shares a decent amount of time in practice sessions with the 17-year-old. Yet another name that came in to support “One Way” was PJ Tucker. This came during the time Kiyan’s clothing brand collaborated with Got Solea sneaker and streetwear convention and marketplace.

In an episode of Overtime’s Evolution, Kiyan shared the vision behind his clothing brand, giving fans a peek into his entrepreneurial mindset. “One Way, it’s a clothing brand, but we’re really trying to promote a whole lifestyle, not just clothes,” he said.

The 17-year-old’s passion for using fashion to express deeper ideas is clear—One Way isn’t just about looking good; it’s about feeling empowered to embrace your unique journey. His business partner, Jaden, echoed this sentiment, explaining that many people feel trapped by the idea that there’s only one way to achieve success.

“In reality, there are many different routes that God chooses for you. And it’s okay to go on your own route,” Jaden emphasized. The dedication to this vision is evident. Especially after the partnership with PSD, where the brand launched a line of products that fully embraced its ethos. From clothing to lifestyle, Carmelo Anthony’s 17-year-old is ensuring his brand is not just worn but lived.
