Many hooping enthusiasts see Kiyan Anthony as a promising young prodigy. While some attribute his prowess to his father’s genes—10× NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony—Kiyan’s achievements extend beyond the court. Recently, he’s been channeling his energy into the business realm, drawing on the lessons he’s gleaned from his parents. “The first thing I have learned is always to remember that any business relationship I enter, either now or in the future, needs to be authentic to who I am,” Kiyan shared. His approach seems to be paying off, showing that he’s not just a basketball prodigy but a budding entrepreneur as well.
Following a memorable stint at the Paris Olympics, where both men’s and women’s basketball teams clinched gold medals, Carmelo and Kiyan returned to New York. Amid the post-Olympic excitement, he and fellow hooper Jadyn Defense—who is also a co-owner of Kiyan’s lifestyle brand ‘One Way’—made waves on social media. In an Instagram story, Kiyan was seen promoting ‘One Way’, showcasing his commitment to his brand and his entrepreneurial spirit.
In a notable development, ‘One Way’ recently announced a special collaboration with Got Sole, a renowned New York-based sneaker brand. This partnership marks a significant milestone for Kiyan’s brand, blending the worlds of fashion and sports into an exciting new venture.

Reflecting on his brand’s philosophy, Kiyan once explained, “We chose to call it ‘One Way’ because we have learned that there are many routes to achieve happiness and success; no one way is the right way; you have to trust God and the process.”
Despite the high expectations and pressures, Kiyan Anthony continues to excel, proving he’s on a promising path, whether he’s on the court or managing his ventures.

Drawing inspiration from his parents, Carmelo and La La Anthony, Kiyan emphasized the importance of building a trustworthy team around him. “I have also learned that building a team around you that has your best interest in mind is important.
