Funny Marco is a name to look out for in the upcoming years. The American YouTuber and comedian is going places with his hilarious sketches, and now, this got him an invite from Shaq to join his podcast. With comedy on one side, Marco has managed to impress quite a few celebrities. One of them is none other than Carmelo Anthony’s ex-wife La La, who the internet believes might date the comedian soon. Though the stance isn’t a surety, La La’s special cameo in Shaq’s latest episode with Marco is hinting at a few things. 

Marco was asked if he knew someone famous that he could Facetime. Without hesitation, the 30-year-old rang up La La Anthony. Marco told La La, “So look, I’m here with somebody. I’m live right now and I got a question. I’m here with somebody right.“ La La initially denied a live call, but then Marco turned the camera towards Shaquille O’Neal, which caught her by surprise.

Marco questioned La La, “I just want to know if you got anything good to say about this person.“ After seeing Shaq, she said, “I love Shaq”. The Los Angeles Lakers legend replied, “Hello beautiful. How are you?”. The  For the Love of Ray J host went on to praise the Big Diesel, “He’s an icon, a pioneer...“, but before she could finish Marco ended the conversation. The comedian did not want her to praise Shaq. However, what’s to be noted here is the sudden bonding between Lala and Marco. Something similar was witnessed in their appearance on the red carpet for the series Black Family Mafia.

Did La La Anthony accept Marco’s proposal for a date?  

La La Anthony, who plays the role of Markaisha Taylor in the Black Family Mafia joined the red carpet, where Funny Marco was also seen. The two posed together, which were later seen on Marco’s Instagram. The comedian also shared a screenshot of their conversation before the red carpet, where he had asked her out. Marco’s text read, “It’s me Lala just wanted to see if you could let me take you out one day I know you be busy I be hella busy so let me know so I can pick a time. thank you for reading my dm.”

Well, Marco got the approval as La La introduced him as her date for the red carpet. The 41-year-old shared in an interview, “He manifested it and it happened“. Marco added, “I went in with this with confidence you know, she told me to get creed and of course, I had to take her out to eat and I spent about 1500.” Lala denied the above story by Marco, and shared that all of this dating was just for fun. 

However, it looks like the two have developed a bond over time after they began exchanging messages following La La’s appearance on Marco’s podcast early this year.
