Funny Marco has been quite into the headlines ever since he humorously approached Carmelo Anthony‘s ex-wife, La La, for a date. It started with the 31-year-old YouTuber posting a video on his Instagram story asking for a date. Seemingly less to Marco’s expectations, the ‘Power’ star actually re-shared the story with a poll from followers seeking their opinion of Marco for a date. Ever since the majority supported him, there have been instances of hilarious social media exchanges and one public appearance. But are the two actually dating?

Marco recently shared a vlog titled ‘Can’t believe I Had My First DATE with My Crush LaLa’. During an instance of shopping in the vlog, he even stated he is going on a date with La La. But later in the video, it turned out to be more of an appointment with a dermatologist, and the ‘Power’ star was also present there. But it seemed it was mostly because she was the one to recommend the dermatologist.

Earlier also, the two had made a public appearance earlier on a red carpet, but La La denied the two being on an actual date. And this appointment too did not seem to be a date, but a friend being there for another one. Although there was an instance where Anthony questioned Marco about his love life and how many girls he was seeing at the moment.

“…Don’t wanna claim nobody that I feel like I should just put out there…I’m learning. Before you claim anybody, make sure you have a lease agreement together. So once we move in with each other, that’s when we’re together,” he said on his YouTube channel. Further in the video, he took a hilarious dig at La La saying that he’d move in with her, but the ‘Power’ star’s attitude setup wouldn’t work with him. That’s when she playfully slapped off Marco’s cap, and he again hilariously pointed out the attitude issue he was mentioning.

Further in the video, there was yet another humorous discussion with the dermatologist. “Basically she’s (La La) saying… Before she ever give me a chance, I need to get this sh*t together,” Marco stated. “I never said that. I love you how you are, okay?” she replied. But this again seemed to be mostly in good friendship and so far nothing has been official from either side. As stated earlier, the two appeared together at a red carpet-event. And during the interview, Marco faced the question regarding asking out La La. Speaking on the story of the meeting with La La, Marco stated he was confident and that La La told him to take her out to eat. The statement seemed to be ironic because, in an earlier instance, the ‘Power’ star had told Marco to be more confident. 

The 42-year-old star, subsequently, denied going out on a date. “He manifested this (the meeting) and now it happened but we haven’t went on a date yet,” she said. If this is not enough evidence that the two have not started dating yet, Marco’s crush update may be it. During a podcast episode with Shaquille O’Neal, the YouTuber was asked about his crush.

The 31-year-old who always stated his crush to be La La this time went with India Love. He even recently shared an IG post featuring him wearing a t-shirt with Love’s image imprinted on it in an attempt to get her. The post interestingly had a comment from La La. “You know what…I should have never let u meet my mom!!!!!!!!” La La commented on the post. So, what do you think of the two?
