Carmelo Anthony and Michael Jordan share more than just their iconic NBA careers. Both have made waves off the court, diving into successful business ventures—most notably in the tequila world. While Jordan’s $3.2 billion net worth dwarfs Melo’s $160 million, and they may be competitors in the field, the latter did not mind appearing at an event arranged by MJ’s Tequila brand Cincoro and Kamal Hotchandani’s Haute Living celebrating Ronnie Fieg’s new achievement; for Melo’s connection to the magazine goes way back.

Ronnie Fieg, the footwear and clothing maestro, recently featured on the cover of Haute Living, a luxury magazine brand in Miami. To mark the occasion, Haute Living teamed up with Cincoro during Art Basel Miami Beach, throwing a jaw-dropping bash at The Moore. The night was nothing short of spectacular. Former cover stars like Kevin and Kate Love, Victor Cruz, Caro Daur, and Carmelo Anthony all showed up to raise their glasses to Fieg’s success.

And the night didn’t lack star power either. Rohan Marley, son of Bob Marley, Nico Marley, YG Marley, Carina Zavline, jeweler Greg Yuna, and others attended the eve. As they arrived at The Moore, a private membership club in Miami’s Design District, Haute Living greeted them with Cincoro tequila cocktails like Spicy Margaritas and Palomas.

But this wasn’t the first time Carmelo Anthony found himself at the center of a celebration by the Haute Living team.

Back in 2016, during the NBA’s All-Star Weekend, the group hosted a high-profile dinner in Melo’s honor, this time under their Haute Time banner. The dinner saw a glamorous guest list of celebrities and athletes, all gathering to toast the star in style.

The Toronto event also featured a personal touch—a custom portrait of Melo by the famous street artist Mad Steez. The guest list was equally impressive, including 2 Chainz, Lennox Lewis, Ludacris, and an array of local VIPs. But it was not the biggest Haute Living Carmelo Anthony celebration.

Carmelo Anthony’s 2022 Haute Living celebration

Back in 2022, Haute Living celebrated Carmelo Anthony with an exclusive dinner marking his Haute Living Los Angeles and Haute Wine + Spirits covers, as well as the launch of his global estate brand, 7th Estate. Hosted at The Aster Los Angeles, a soon-to-open private members-only club, the event was an intimate yet lavish affair. Guests enjoyed a meticulously curated four-course meal, admired a custom art piece by Seek One, and raised their glasses in a special toast led by Louis XIII to honor Melo’s new venture.

During the dinner, Melo delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing his gratitude to the Haute Living team. He also shared his passion for wine, taking attendees on a journey through the creation of 7th Estate and even offering a special tasting of his wines. To cap it off, street artist Seek One surprised Melo with a custom painting.

The guest list was as impressive as the event itself. Attendees included Haute Media Group CEO Kamal Hotchandani, Belize’s Dr. Shyne Barrow, and a mix of influential figures like Dr. Victoria Veytsman, Jason Strauss, and actress Esha Gupta. To wrap up the festivities, Louis XIII representatives Wayne Chang and Delano Wynter led a toast, wishing the NBA legend success in his new ventures. So very slight chance Melo could have missed the event.
