Everyone loves a good old-fashioned rivalry. Whether between sporting franchises or celebrities, a feud is usually enjoyable for everyone. However, no one could have seen this latest one coming out of the NBA circles. Weeks after veteran NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith had some incendiary remarks about Larsa Pippen for her comments about Michael Jordan, her boyfriend, Marcus, took a subtle jab at the veteran analyst.
It all stemmed from a simple “No” from His Airness. Since then, the issue has grown tenfold, and now is a hot topic for conversation.

Through all the controversy, Larcus keeps getting stronger by the week. While most podcasts focus on the sports aspect, the two have dived deep into the personal aspects of their lives. However, that hasn’t stopped criticism. After Stephen A.’s incendiary remarks, it was the couple’s turn to fire back. And boy, did they ever.
In a month when seemingly everyone takes shots at him, perhaps Marcus might hit the hardest. Discussing their hairstyles, Marcus talked about how his condition was hereditary. “There’s some Native American in my family so, you know, I get my mom’s dad’s hair, not my dad’s hair…You’ve seen my grandfather, he’s 90 years old, still kicking all his hair and greys. So yeah, I think I’m holding on…I definitely don’t have a Stephen A. Smith hairline.”
A common butt of jokes on his ESPN show, we’ll have to see how Smith responds to Marcus’ callout. Larsa even added to the comments, claiming, “First of all, who’s that?” Marcus claimed that the couple would talk about the analyst in the next episode. Perhaps, we might get a response from Larsa about the “unknown” Stephen A,’s comments about her.

About a month ago, the 55-year-old analyst had some strong remarks against Larsa, the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen. The entire ordeal came about after Michael voiced his disapproval of his son’s relationship. In the subsequent episode of their Separation Anxiety podcast, Larsa claimed that the comments had left her “traumatized“. Smith, however, was having none of it. According to him, Jordan’s remarks were totally justified.
He cited Mike’s pre-existing friendship with Scottie as the primary reason. “Why would Michael Jordan want his son with his ex-teammate, a person he called the greatest teammate he ever had? Why would he want his son with that man’s ex-wife?”
