Only four days after his new position at Reebok, Shaq brought in the NCAA sensation Angel Reese. Recently, he announced that another major athlete has been added to the roster, and this one is a “knockout” as per the man himself.

Partnering with someone as prolific in their work as Shaq has a lot of benefits. Shaq has taken all of his businesses to great heights and he continues to build his brand. The 4x NBA champion owns 100s of outlets among other businesses and has amassed over $400 million in his career as a businessman. With their new President at the helm of things, the footwear giant is surely reaping the benefits of making Shaq the President of the basketball division. Only last month his new position was announced and Shaq already has a few major signings to his name.

Recently, the LA Lakers legend welcomed Shakur Stevenson to Reebok’s athletes lineup. The Big Man made the news public in style as well, with an edited picture of him getting punched by the boxer. Shaq wrote “Another knockout signing from the prez and VP”. It is worth noting that alongside Shaq, Reebok brought in another NBA legend to oversee their basketball division. The great Allen Iverson was announced as their Vice President and the duo is already performing magic for the company.

With these two legendary names taking charge, we can expect bigger things to get done in the future.

Shaquille O’Neal’s long-standing relationship with Reebok

Shaq becoming the president of the basketball division at Reebok is not something out of the blue. The Big Man has collaborated with the company in the past as well and has played a major role in their growth as a brand over the years. Back in 1992, Reebok first signed Shaq when he was active in the league. While they produced some iconic sneakers back in the day, their collaboration eventually fell apart.

In 2021, Shaq played a huge role in Reebok’s acquisition by Authentic Brands Group as well.
