There?s never a quiet day in sports. A few days ago, the boxing world was buzzing with the news of Devin Haney?s fight with Shakur Stevenson. After Stevenson?s earlier bout, fans were excited to watch him face Haney. However, the fight might not take place due to a low split. Stevenson is reportedly confident about himself and has refused the offer. He stated the reason to be the unfair split of profit. While many people agreed with his decision, NBA player Paul Pierce dropped a random piece of advice for the fighter.

According to the reports, Haney?s team presented a 75/25 revenue split to the world champion. The deal was rejected by the fighter who wished for a 50/50 split. Having made millions in the NBA, what advice does Pierce hold for the five-million-worth boxer?

The 10-time NBA All-Star player recently appeared in the popular talk show It Is What It It.?The player talked about various things on the show that interested the fans. When the conversation drifted to the Twitter fight between Stevenson and Haney, Pierce gave his advice to the world champion who rejected the offer.

Advising the boxer, he said, ?You signed a contract this is gonna boost your career, and you know what I am saying, if you beat me, then the money go for you after that but, I got all the belts, I am the one.?

He also added, ?If I am Shakur take the fight if you like you better because if you win and you get the invest now your price go all the way up.?

From speaking on his feud with Ray Allen to mentioning how he was a better scorer than the modern-day great Dwyane Wade, the conversation was engaging.

Paul Pierce?s Beef with Ray Allen

In the same episode, Pierce also talked about his disappointment with the Hall of Famer and his former teammate, Ray Allen. He stated that the sudden departure of the player made him upset.

In 2012, Allen left the Boston Celtics who were offering him a two-year contract of $12 million. Later he joined the Miami Heat where he was offered a $6 million deal.
