The Los Angeles Clippers recently lost their 6th straight game in a row. Their poor performance on the court can be attributed to many things, but the 7x NBA champion highlights one of the main reasons for the Clippers fiasco.

In a recent ?Big Shot Bob Podcast? episode, 7x NBA champion Robert Horry gives his take on the current Clippers squad. He describes the team by stating, ?There are too many ?cooks in the kitchen? for this team.?

He further says, ?To me, the guy who suffers the most in this is Paul George?I?m not saying ?passive? in a bad way but he?s such a passive guy where he wants to bench for the team.?

The 7x NBA champion then claims that Paul George should be the one who should be ?in charge?. Robert Horry says this about PG, ?He?s just too good to be second or third fiddle on the team.?

Horry believes that all the plays should be run through Paul George because he is smart enough to let other players shine if they get ?cooking?.

7x NBA Champ Predicts ?Healthy? Exit

At the beginning of the 2023-2024 NBA season, the Los Angeles Clippers looked ready to dominate the season. Their star-studded lineup included players like a healthy Kawhi Leonard, in-form Paul George, in-form Ivica Zubac, and the newly traded, Russell Westbrook.

The NBA team looked well-balanced and even had a deep bench just in case. However, the Clippers acquired James Harden from the Philadelphia 76ers mis-season, and that ruined the team?s growing chemistry.

James Harden is the kind of player who controls the ball movement with his dribbling, as well as taking a number of shots in a game. However, a team blessed with so many NBA superstars would then face a tough time playing with each other, since everyone has different playing styles.

Robert Horry mentions this in the same ?Big Shot Bob Podcast? episode, that Paul George is the one who is the most affected by Harden?s trade to the Clippers.

The 7x NBA champions claims that if an NBA team was looking into which player they would want in their team from the Clippers, it would be Paul George. Horry explains, ?Because he is always on the cusp of becoming the MVP, not saying the other guys aren?t, but he can fit in where he is?? Robert Horry also claims that Paul George is the ?healthier one? between him and Kawhi Leonard.?
