Watching NBA players and former teammates interact can often be a hilarious experience. After all, these people forge strong friendships with each other over the course of years spent in the trenches. Especially, when that journey was rife with severe backlash from the media. For a good chunk of their careers, Dwyane Wade teaming up with Chris Bosh and LeBron James was frowned upon.

However, as most of the league turned their backs on them, the trio had each other to support. In those years, a pre-existing friendship turned ironclad. Today, two-thirds of the group is in the Hall of Fame with LeBron soon to follow. While not inducting his teammate into the Hall of Fame, Chris Bosh still made sure to give us a hilarious moment on the red carpet.

Before the official ceremony gets underway, the NBA had a special red-carpet presentation of the event. With interviews from inductees and other major names around the sport, Wade joined the team. However, Bosh came in with some trademark hilarity.

During their Miami Heat days, it was a common sight to see Bosh interrupt Bron or Wade’s on-court interviews. As either of the duo would try to give a serious interview, the 6’11 Bosh would slowly insert himself into the frame, often with a golden expression on his face, leaving fans in splits.

On the day his brother joins him in the Hall of Fame, Chris found one more opportunity to deliver a “Bosh Bomb“. After slowly sliding into the picture, Bosh showed off a ridiculous expression with Wade egging him on, “Go ahead.”

Bosh took one look at Wade sporting the HoF jacket, “You got your Grizz tat(tattoo) showing.” Wade clarified, “It’s the Marquette tat“, in homage to his alma mater. As both struggled to keep a straight face, it was a trip down memory lane for fans of the duo.

As the post from NBA’s official page on Twitter read, Flash got a reminder of one important fact.

A brotherhood

Going through the trials and tribulations of an NBA career can never be an easy task. Whether it’s fan backlash, failure to meet own expectations or just general disappointment, a strong support system is essential.

While the family part of that support system remains strong for D-Wade, he also got a reminder of the support he has inside the NBA. Through thick and thin, through the highs and lows, from the Miami Heat to the Chicago Bulls and now to the Basketball Hall of Fame, Chris Bosh got his back.

As the pair are finally reunited in their rightful place inside the Hall of the elites, their brotherhood remains stronger than ever.
