If you’d like to know a thing or two about marketing, just take some notes from Michael Jordan’s multi-million spirits brand Cincoro. The Chicago Bulls legend has made a few notable investments that have boosted his net worth over the years. Cincoro is one of his latest ventures which has managed to become a center of attraction, only because they decided to showcase it at the right place.

American comedian and actor Anthony Anderson just finished his 6th annual edition of Celebrity Golf Classics, where popular figures from various industries participated. Although Michael Jordan didn’t take part in this charity, he made sure his tequila brand was there on his behalf. Notably, this decision from the 6x champion managed to get the attention of 28x Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps.

In their latest Instagram post, Cincoro shared a picture of Phelps holding the tequila bottle, and wrote in the captions, Cincoro celebrates greatness on the golf course with Michael Phelps at Anthony Anderson’s annual Celebrity Golf Classic, coming together to raise funds for charitable causes.” MJ has used sports superstars to endorse his brand whenever possible. After all, this brand was started by five people who had a common love for sports and tequila.

If you are not aware of the owners of Cincoro, it is none other than Wyc Grousbeck and Emilia Fazzalari, who own the Boston Celtics, Jeanie Buss of the LA Lakers, Wes Edens of the Milwaukee Bucks, and obviously his Airness as well.  Cincoro has used several platforms over the last few months to promote its tequila. However, this time, it was for a charitable cause and they can take pride in it.

What is the charitable cause behind Anthony Andersons’s Celebrity Golf Classics?

Anderson has successfully completed six editions of the Golf Classics. In the previous edition, the tournament helped raise six figures for The Anthony Anderson Family Foundation, who continue to help the Children’s Hospital in LA, Boys & Girls Club of America, The Black Academy of Arts & Letters, Los Angeles Mission, and a few more places.

Widely known faces of America take part in this initiative from Anderson, just to show their support for his efforts towards charity. That’s the only reason behind the success of all the six editions. The only thing that was new this time was MJ’s Cincoro.

So this makes it a two-in-one goal for Jordan. The brand gets promoted, and also for a good cause. Michael Phelps was used to showcase their brand this time, let’s see who’s in line next.
