Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan’s son Marcus Jordan, who has been having extended birthday celebrations, took the party over to an extravagant Mexican restaurant in Miami on Saturday night. The 33-year-old, along with his girlfriend Larsa Pippen, had a gala time at Chateau ZZ’s. However, it was his father who took the limelight. But, in the form of his seven-figure tequila brand, Cincoro Tequila.
The 5 million dollar worth liquor brand hit it straight out of the bat as it took the spirit world by storm with its quick success. Ever since its introduction in 2016, Cincoro has shown great developments in terms of sales and popularity. Nevertheless, the 6x NBA Champion’s son further took it up a notch. It’s not like the Cincoro Tequila took the center stage on Saturday night, but has been on the front page since its debut. Recently,one of the co-founders revealed the origin story of the brand. The legendary four NBA team owners bonded over their love for tequila and Michael Jordan emerged as the face of the brand because of his global popularity.
And, the rest is history as the brand went on to receive more than 23 awards since its entry into one of the most competitive markets in the business world. Now, seven years into the business, Cincoro took the center stage at Marcus Jordan’s birthday bash.
Marcus Jordan took to his Instagram stories and shared the snippets from the wild party scenes from the restaurant. In one of the stories, Reposado, a medium gold-colored tequila from MJ’s Cincoro, had a special reveal. A couple of people excitedly held the brand-new bottles of Reposado up in their hands and gave it a grand welcome.

Other than that, Cincoro’s special entry occurred at the newly opened Mexican restaurant by the industry heads Jeff Zalaznick, Mario Carbone, and Rich Torrisi. Chateau ZZ’s is located in a former private estate and it offers exclusive upstairs area for the club members, reported Robb Report.

Cincoro’s origin story

Emilia Fazzalari, one of the five founders of the brand, recently opened up about the origin story of the brand. She said, “We talked late into the night about what we wanted in a tequila. Something that was ultra-smooth and simply delicious,” over a dinner night with he partners,
She further spoke about the goal set for the quality of the product, that they were intended to produce. Fazzalari said, “our goal was set—to make the most delicious spirit we have ever tasted and create the gold standard. Hence our name Cinco for five and Oro for gold.”
The brand currently has five different variants namely, Reposado, Blanco, Gold, Extra Anejo, and Joshua Vides.
