If you play basketball, a cupboard full of sneakers is a dream. From Nike to Reebok, MJ to Shaq, every series of theirs is a new style. From the Jordan Brand dropping its newest commercial ad featuring Luka Doncic to Nike CEO Elliott Hill reassuring fans that Caitlin Clark’s signature shoe is in the works, it is always happening. Though the release date remains elusive for CC, the works of Doncic are done. The Slovenian player arriving in LA, the stakes are at an all-time high. This was a big move, causing chaos across the team, and the brand is clearly gaining much from it. But wait, this is not the end of the world. Amidst this, the Jordan Brand is all set to launch some new lineups. And the event for the first look was held at none other than Michael Jordan’s private nest in Florida.

No, we’re not talking about his house. The event took place at the most exclusive golf course, Grove XII in Hobe Sound, Florida, which is owned by the Chicago Bulls legend Jordan. The Bulls legend opened doors to this private golf club back in 2019. Want to know more about it? This place features an 18-hole course, a main clubhouse, a learning facility, a gatehouse, and much more. For the event, several celebrities, club members, and sneaker enthusiasts were invited to spend a day at the golf club and had the opportunity to play with some of the best and most elite players.

Instagram user Ruben E. Palacios just dropped a snippet showing glimpses of the place from morning until the end of the day, highlighting all the activities they participated in. The event was held for the guests to preview the upcoming launch of Jordan Brand Golf Collection and the new shoe, the Jordan Air Rev. Some of the glimpses showed the club had also provided custom Jordan Brand gear for the day. Later, guests had the opportunity to pair up and play alongside other athletes. Throughout the place, there were subtle details nodding to the Bulls legend.

Jordan Brand’s The Trial ad for Luka Doncic

The Jordan Brand is back with yet another thrilling commercial ad, The Trial of Luka Doncic. The first trailer, released a few days ago, shows eager people sitting in a courtroom, waiting for Doncic. The crime? “Do you actually enjoy being bad, Luka?” the opposing lawyer asked, accusing the player as he arrived and took his seat.

Another glimpse showed the lawyer declaring, “You are a nasty, trash-talking menace.” The jurors are shown to be impressed by Doncic’s shoes, creating a distraction. This was followed by a young woman who was summoned to testify that Doncic yelled at her dad after a game-winner, but it was actually about her dad liking Luka’s shoes. Doncic was also questioned whether he likes trash-talking. To which he just winked.

The marketing team might need a raise for this ingenious ad. Back in 2019, Nike signed a deal with the NBA player Doncic. Later, he signed a contract extension with Jumpman in 2023. This year, the Slovenian player was traded to the Lakers. And many might be interested in getting their hands on some of Doncic’s coveted signature sneaker line. The ad has attracted fans’ attention and once again targets the same nostalgia. Fans are absolutely loving it! It’s new, exciting, and refreshing.
